The Highway Christian Centre purchased a 21 year lease on the Bordertown Caravan park just over 4 years ago.  At that time, the Park was a problem to both the Local Council and the town with its alcohol and drug problems and run down facilities.  Three years later and the comments from both the Council and the town was about the excellent appearance of the Park and the comment that "it feels different."  We know that where God's people are so is His Presence and everything changes when God is present.   Having the Park has enabled us to: * Touch base with and establish relationship with those who are a long way from entering a Church building.  It has given us the opportunity to show impartiality and acceptance to many who come from backgrounds of rejection and abuse and whose lives are down trodden and to offer them the hope of Jesus Christ. * To provide excellent accommodation and hospitality to the tourist community who visit and pass through Bordertown.  The Highway Christian Centre has built 3 Cedar Cabins thus far in the tourist section of the Park and relocated 2 smaller cabins to provide lower cost accommodation. * To provide accommodation options to those who visit the conferences held in the Church. * To work towards building a business that will support both local and overseas missions.  For any information or bookings please ring 61 08 87521752
