"Loving & Serving God, His Church, & the lost"

To achieve our mission statement, we need to become a WHOLE people. It is our intention to increase in each of the following areas.

Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only! It is our intention to grow in every aspect of worship: Bowing down before our Lord and God; to praise Him and give Him thanks; to bring daily offerings of self, prayer and finances; to serve Him; to share the Good News and to live a life of obedience to His divine will.

Holiness - Be holy because your heavenly Father is holy! Our God is a Holy God! He alone is holy and pure in essence and actions. We are holy as we live a life in step with and under the control of Holy Spirit. As we walk in the Spirit, the holiness of God will flow forth from our lives and we will not profane or defile the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who we love.

Obedience - To obey is better than sacrifice! The Greek word for obey is to "hear." It means to hear in the sensory realm, to perceive with the mind and to respond in obedience. To go on not hearing is to harden one's heart towards God, and to hear the word is to be like the seed that fell into good soil and produced a crop 100 fold. Our desire is to be a Church that says: "Speak Lord your servant is listening."

Love - Love the Lord your God … your neighbor … and your enemies! We are called to love God, neighbors and enemies with an agape love. God gave this word agape tangible, visible meaning in the sending of and the self-sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. Through the life and death of Jesus, we find that this love involves great cost, sacrifice, selflessness, humility, obedience and commitment. This is the love we as a Church are to have for God, our neighbor and even our enemies. This love is possible in and through the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:5). As stated above in regards to holiness, we can only manifest agape when we walk in step with the Holy Spirit, who is the God of agape in you.

Endurance - if we endure, we shall also reign with him! This awesome Christian life is a life of endurance. Jesus teaches us that we will only be fruitful if we endure affliction and persecution. Jesus Himself is the great endurance runner. Hebrews tell us that we need to throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and run with perseverance the race marked out for us. We are told to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross. Furthermore it tell us to consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that we will not grow weary and lose heart. Finally, Mark tells us that he who endures to the end will be saved.
